Setelah beberapa lama menimang tawaran tugas luar, akhirnya kami sekeluarga meninggalkan Depok untuk bertugas di luar. Negara tujuan adalah USA, spesifiknya adalah di Houston Texas. China’s demand growth to outweigh impact of end of tax breaks
Wale added that even when government incentives will be removed, there is still a “tremendous underlying demand.” China’s industrywide vehicle sales rose by 46% last year to 13.6 million and 34% during the first 11 months of 2010 due to measures such as consumption-tax cuts, subsidies for rural car-buyers and incentives to trade in older models.
China will raise the tax on vehicles with engines of 1.6 liters or smaller to 10% from 7.5% next month. In 2009, the tax was 5%. China’s total vehicle sales including trucks and buses jumped to 16.4 million in the first 11 months of 2010, according to the China Automobile Industry Association. It’s expected that auto sales will rise to 18 million units this year, giving it the title of the world’s largest auto market for the second consecutive year. [via autonews]

Instead, the flaw was discovered by its Honda Manufacturing of Alabama plant where the models are manufactured. They found a flaw in the software which operates the machine. Honda has announced the recall as a precaution. Honda will be notifying the owners of the vehicles that are covered by the recall. They will be asked to bring their vehicles to the dealers to be inspected and repaired if necessary.
"A potential problem with the machinery used to tighten the spindle nuts on the front axles of both vehicles, as well as the damper attachment bracket bolts for the Pilot, may cause the front suspension of a small number of these vehicles to fail. A flaw in the software for the equipment used for this assembly process was identified at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC (HMA). Fiat dealers seeking help from Marchionne due to poor sales
Last month, deliveries in the country, Fiat's largest market and Europe's third-largest auto market, decreased by 21% last month. On Oct. 21, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne told analysts that auto sales in Italy will continue to decline in the first quarter. Marchionne declined to provide further details. Marchionne said that for the upcoming year, Fiat's Italian business will continue to be profitable this year. Currently, the Italian market is waiting for Fiat's profit potential.
Fiat raised its 2010 forecast over the rise in demand in emerging markets. Last October, the company said that full-year trading profit will be at least 2 billion euros ($2.6 billion), an increase from its previous target of up to 1.2 billion euros. On Jan. 3, the company, which also controls Chrysler Group, is dividing into by spinning off its industrial business. In a note to clients Nov. 22, Bank of America Merrill Lynch analysts led by Fraser Hill said that 30% of sales are exposed to an Italian car market and that it might fall 7% in 2011. Report: Each Mitsubishi model will have an electric or plug-in hybrid variant
Mitsubishi has confirmed that it is developing the new vehicle, which is expected to be built in 2013. The Lancer Evolution is another likely model that will be offered with an electric variant. It’s likely that the Evo XI will adopt a hybrid-electric system similar to that of the PX-MiEV.
This platform may consist of an electric motor driving the front wheels and a turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 that will mainly power the rear axle. It’s possible that the package would result to an output higher than 350hp. This move is expected to benefit the carmaker’s development costs. An easy drop-in EV drivetrain would be an excellent option for any of its models. However, Mitsubishi has a difficult challenge ahead of it as developing an electric car means that several requirements have to be met such as achieving a low center area for the batteries, reducing the vehicle’s weight, and improving its aerodynamics.
