Fiat S.p.A. has a new collection of well-equipped, high-value models in the passenger car range. Launched on Feb. 18, 2011, MyLife trim level was presented along with Fiat Punto MyLife. Fast on its heels is the Fiat Panda. Fiat will introduce the Bravo, Qubo and Doblo MyLife later in 2011. The MyLife cars focus on technology and style, with a special emphasis on choice and value for money, in a car carrying an impressive equipment list. The distinctive and original MyLife cars combine technology, design and eco-friendliness in a single product. Elena Bernardelli, marketing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland, said that MyLife focuses on style and technology while at the same time offering a proposition that represents sheer value for money.
Style-wise, there are several highly visible changes to the recognized exterior of the Punto MyLife like the special gloss finish (Piano Black) to the front and rear bumper inserts and door pillars. Punto MyLife, like the GP and Sporting versions, has dark tinted headlights and burnished tail lights to give a sporty look and feel. Punto MyLife also has body-colored door handles, 15-inch sports style alloy wheels and front fog lights.
Punto MyLife’s interior has an enhanced soft touch black dashboard with sporty perforated inserts. It also has Blue&Me telecommunications and information with the facility for TomTom sat nav, Start&Stop with Gear Shift Indicator and air conditioning. With Fiat’s 1.2-liter 8v (69bhp) engine, Punto MyLife’s current price is EUR9,995 for the 3-door model and EUR10,595 for the 5-door model. Panda MyLife, which is currently offered at EUR6,995, is based on the 1.2-liter 8v (69bhp) Active model and comes as standard with 14-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and remote central locking.[via - 4wheelsnews]
